Frances has specialised in planning for 18 years in both the private and public sector. She is a public inquiry specialist with experience ranging from basic appeals to extended major public inquiries. Frances advises on all contentious and non-contentious planning law including application strategies, local plan inquiries, judicial reviews, compulsory purchase, listed buildings and environmental impact and assessments.

Professional memberships - Accredited as a planning specialist by the Law Society of Scotland, member Royal Town Planning Institute; member UKELA; Convener, Planning Law Committee, Law Society of Scotland.
