Qualified 1988. Partner with Simpson & Marwick from 2004 following merger.

Shaun has for a number of years specialised in Family Law and is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in this field. He is also an Accredited Family Law Mediator. He heads the firm's Family Law Team and is available to see clients in all our Scottish offices. Shaun deals with most aspects of Family Law but has particular expertise in complex financial cases. He is trained in and regularly practises Collaborative Family Law.  He is a member of the National Committee of Collaborative Lawyers.

In the Chambers UK Guide to the legal profession Shaun has been described as "pragmatic, knowledgeable and efficient", "a top notch lawyer" and "the go-to guy for financial issues in Aberdeen".
