Alan is a qualified Solicitor Advocate, with rights of audience in the Supreme Courts. In the Court of Session, he has successfully appeared in a wide range of litigation, including commercial disputes and personal injury claims. He has conducted a number of proofs, debates and appeals. With in-depth knowledge and experience of Employment law, Alan has responsibility for this area of practice within the Edinburgh office. He advises clients on all aspects of Employment Law from recruitment to dismissal. He regularly conducts cases before the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal. He has a particular interest in Discrimination Law.
